  • THE FESTIVAL - The 2013 Blues, Brews and BBQ Festival will be located at the NEWS GAZETTE in Downtown Champaign Il. Our new home in Downtown Champaign gave the festival room to grow for several more years and the ability to add new elements such as our motorcycle show, our workshop stage, an interview tent as well as provide national touring artists on all stages. In addition the vibrant downtown area boasts more than 60 bars, restaurants and shops all within one or two blocks of the Blues, Brews and BBQ Festival.

  • The Champaign Center Partnership exist to promote our Center City Districts of Downtown, Campustown and Midtown. We achieve this through special promotions, events, community outreach and business engagement.

  • Provides volunteer advocates who work with abused and neglected children in the Champaign County Court System. No experience necessary, must be 21 years old.

  • Non-for-profit Network of Parents and Self Advocates in the area with Down Syndrome. Since we are a parent run network we rely heavy on our volunteers. We have two major events that we look for volunteers for each year and sometimes we need help with other opportunities too.

  • Mission Statement . . .We are stewards of our county's natural and historic resources through conservation, education and the compatible outdoor recreation experiences we provide at Champaign County's Forest Preserves. CCFPD is a local, property tax-supported government agency charged with the stewardship of five forest preserves covering 3,885 acres in Champaign County, Illinois; Homer Lake Preserve in Homer, Lake of the Woods Preserve in Mahomet, Middle Fork River Forest Preserve in Penfield, River Bend in Mahomet and Sangamon River Forest Preserve in Fisher.

  • The Champaign County Freedom Celebration Committee is a not for profit all volunteer organization that plans and organizes the 4th of July Celebration activities within Champaign-Urbana each year. Those activities include the 5K race, the parade, the evening concert, and the fireworks display. All activities are 100% funded through contributions from local residents and businesses and supported 100% by volunteers. WE ARE STILL IN NEED OF VOLUNTEERS FOR THIS YEARS EVENT.

  • The Habitat for Humanity ReStore accepts donations of new and gently used furniture, household items, building materials, appliances and electronics from individuals and businesses in the community and resells them to generate funds to support our home building efforts.

  • Champaign County Health Care Consumers (CCHCC) believes that health care is a basic human right, and is dedicated to the mission of working for quality affordable health care for all. CCHCC organizes individuals and communities to have a voice in the health care system and to affect social change. CCHCC carries out its mission through consumer education, advocacy, and community organizing.

  • The purpose of the Champaign County Humane Society is to prevent cruelty to animals, to promote animal welfare, and to educate the public about humane care and treatment of animals.
