WRFU is a volunteer-based, progressive radio station collective committed to social justice, focusing on public affairs issues and the arts. WRFU airs opinions and debates in an open and diverse forum that focuses on educating and empowering the public. WRFU provides an accessible venue for an eclectic mixture of arts programming.

  • Young Survival Coalition (YSC) is the premier global organization dedicated to the critical issues unique to young women who are diagnosed with breast cancer. YSC offers resources, connections and outreach so women feel supported, empowered and hopeful. The Champaign-Urbana affiliate was started in 2009.

  • Youth For Understanding is one of the oldest and largest high school exchange programs in the world. We are a private, non-profit educational program dedicated to preparing young people for their responsibilities and opportunities in a changing, interdependent world.

  • Our dual mission is the elimination of racism and the empowerment of women through the vehicle of student leadership development. Social and racial justice are the YWCA's focus areas.

  • Zoo Improv is a troupe of improvisational performers offering the comedic form through local and state performances, fundraisers, private parties, corporate trainings, and educational workshops. We are incorporated and a 501C(3) organization. Full resume available at
