  • Mahomet Area Youth Club (MAYC) is a non-profit after-school and full-day summer program that serves members ages 6-18 in Champaign County via BLAST, clubhouse hours, homework club, and other youth-related programming. MAYC's mission is to is to teach and support young people to develop their full potential to become responsible, respectful, caring and productive citizens,. MAYC fulfills this mission by providing daily programming for the members, community outreach, and collaboration with community organizations. We serve over 800 youth each year. 

  • The Mahomet Area Youth Club is a not-for-profit youth club that serves members ages 6-18 and their families in the Mahomet, Illinois community and surrounding areas. MAYC serves as an after-school enrichment program during the school year, and an all-day summer program during the summer months. Through our partnership with the Mahomet-Seymour school district we are able to provide quality enrichment classes to more Mahomet students.

  • The MakerSpace-Urbana is a Working Group of the Urbana-Champaign Independent Media Center and we occupy Studio 16 of the classic Urbana Post Office Building at 202 S. Broadway. The MakerSpace is an informal incubator for radical product design and a place to learn and share knowledge about technology. Our on-going projects and programs include the twice-weekly Free Computer Help Desk, The "Wireless in the Developing World" Reading Group, MeshWifi Workshops and the annual Champaign-Urbana Mini Maker Faire, officially sanctioned by O'Reilly Publishers.

  • The mission of the March of Dimes is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality.The March of Dimes has been conducting special events for more than 60 years. These activities--formal balls, signature chef auctions and dinners, motorcycle rides, golf tournaments and March for Babies--help the March of Dimes fund cutting-edge research and innovative programs to save babies. Our local market goal is to educate the community and build awareness of the March of Dimes.

  • Mobile Mutts is a 100% volunteer based rescue transport group of dedicated animal welfare advocates who transport "death row" dogs from high kill shelters in the south to the safety of screened and approved foster based rescues throughout the Midwest. Each week we travel to Champaign Urbana with anywhere from ten to twenty "furkids" on board the underdog railway. Each of them need a warm place to crash for the night!! This is a chance for you to help a death row dog on it's way from the shelter to the safety of their rescue.

  • Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America is a non-partisan grassroots movement to mobilize moms and families to advocate for stronger gun laws.

    Our common-sense, middle-ground solutions to the escalating problem of gun violence in America are straightforward. We are moms, aunts, sisters, grandparents, dads, brothers, uncles, and friends, and we want you to join us!

    Central Illinois Moms Demand Action chapter organizes events to raise awareness about gun violence prevention, gun safety, and involvement in local events. 

  • Multicultural Community Center (MCC) is a nonprofit organization located in Rantoul, Illinois. MCC-Rantoul works together with the community to promote and enable families to live a healthier and fuller life. The institution is seeking to provide services to the community in areas of education, cultural arts, recreation, community development, health and social services. The MCC welcomes all community members and celebrate diversity and differences in race, gender, social status, and ability status among others.

  • As a facility within the Champaign County Forest Preserve District, our mission is to collect, preserve and interpret the natural and cultural history of Champaign County and East Central Illinois.Through diverse experiences, we seek to inspire our audiences with a sense of connection to, and stewardship of, their natural and cultural world.
