  • We are a mutual assistance center with the mission to aid in the resettlement and assimiliation of refugees and immigrants in East Central Illinois.

  • East Central Illinois Youth for Christ serves Middle School and High School Students through a Friday Night Midnight Basketball Program.  Every Friday night from 8 to 11 pm YFC has 2 different local gyms open where up to 75 urban teens join us for an   organized basketball tournament.  YFC is looking for volunteers to partner with us in this exciting ministry.

  • The Eastern Illinois Foodbank exists to alleviate hunger in eastern Illinois by providing a reliable source of food for the hungry through cooperation with a network of food pantries and agencies. The Foodbank accepts donated and discounted food from a variety of sources and distributes it to 220 emergency food programs, such as food pantries, soup kitchens and shelters. By partnering with EIF, emergency food programs are able to save millions of dollars each year in food purchase and handling costs.

  • SCORE is a nonprofit association dedicated to educating entrepreneurs and helping small businesses start, grow, and succeed. SCORE is a resource partner with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), and has been mentoring small business owners for more than forty years. ECI SCORE (East Central Illinois) is made up of local experienced business owners and managers who use their experience, knowledge and resources to help individuals and/or small business owners achieve success. Volunteers counsel and mentor clients and help presemt low cost workshops.

  • We have several 6th, 7th, and 8th grade math classes with significant numbers of ESL students. We welcome volunteers fluent in both English and Spanish or English and French. Please contact me for class times and availability; every little bit of one-on-one translation is a big help when the students are learning new material.

  • EJP is a vibrant academic community of incarcerated students, educators, formerly incarcerated individuals, family members of the incarcerated, and others who are committed to more just and humane world, achieved through education and critical awareness. We believe that providing opportunities for quality postsecondary education within American prisons is an important step towards that vision.  Accordingly, EJP offers educational programming at Danville Correctional Center through the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

  • English as a Second Language students at Champaign Central High School need tutoring help and interaction to practice English.

  • Faith In Action of Champaign County is in need of volunteers! As an interfaith volunteer caregiver program, Faith in Action volunteers provide practical assistance for seniors in their own community. We serve Champaign County residents, ages 55 and older, who are in need of a particular service.

  • It is our belief that strengthening families is the number 1 goal in service provision to families in our community. To build and maintain our community through advocacy, encouragement and support as the means of strengthening families and producing a stronger community.
