Food Pantry Worker (All day) Daily Food Pantry Operations We ask that Food Pantry Workers volunteer for a minimum of a two-hour time slot. The Food Pantry is open from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm Monday through Friday (excluding holidays).
 
Girl Scouts of Central Illinois - Ways to Volunteer (All day) ongoing volunteer with Girl Scout troops Time varies depending on Girl Scout Troops meeting times, locations, and needs. Please contact mguthrie@girlscouts-gsci.org for more information.

Description:
We have opportunities for volunteers throughout our day. The school day starts at 8:05 and ends at 2:50, with most classes being about 40 minutes long. Most volunteers come in for one class period a week, but you can certainly volunteer more days/hours if you'd like to!

Welcoming Week Videographer
Description:
We would like someone to commit to attending 5-10 Welcoming Week events during the week of September 13 through September 22. At each event, we would like them to both get video footage of the event as a whole and also some feedback from individual participates that the volunteer can then turn into a 3-5 minute video.

Description:

DV Hotline Volunteer
Description:
Courage Connection is begining the process to add Volunteers to be trainined to cover the Domestic Violence Hotline answering calls, intake, etc. Must be 18 or older. Must have completed 40 hour Domestic Violence Advocacy Volunteer must make a regular, weekly commitment. The individual doesn't necessarily have to be available for all shifts listed, but must be available each week for their chosen time slot. Interviews for this volunteer postion will begining in November 2018 with DV Training occuring in January 2019 Volunteer(s) must submit an application: http://courageconnection.org/get-involved/volunteer/opportunities/volunteer-application/. Once application has been reviewed, Courage Connection will directly contact the individual(s).

Description:
Maintain sales floor by picking up clothing and other items that have fallen from their displays or have been moved from their designated location by shoppers. Sort, hang, and organize product, as directed by Thrift Store Manager.

Set-Up Shift
Description:
We ask that volunteers arrive one hour before the event begins to assist with set-up. Volunteers will check in at the front entrance and will be assigned a task, such as setting up tables and chairs, taking performers and those tabling to their locations, setting up food, etc.

Description:
We are looking for someone willing to volunteer to face paint to support Welcoming Week, a nationwide celebration that brings together immigrants and U.S.-born community members to get to know one another and build community.

Description:
Volunteers will check in at the front entrance where they will be assigned a task, such as running water to those tabling, keeping the food area clean, assisting with checking attendees in, etc.

Description:
Volunteers will arrive thirty minutes before the event ends and will check in at the front entrance. They will then help with cleaning up the space, such as taking down tables and chairs, cleaning up garbage, helping performers take equipment back to their cars, etc.
