Champaign StreetFest (All day) Volunteer for a shift at StreetFest StreetFest is back! #CUStreetFest Join us for live local music in the streets of Downtown Champaign. Enjoy local food and drinks available from your favorite downtown establishments and listen to some great CU talent. Get right in the middle of all the action of StreetFest by volunteering for one of the time slots below! 12PM-3PM : SETUP-- Help us shut down the streets of Downtown Champaign and line them with tables and chairs. You can be the first to snag a table at the start of the event! 11:30PM-1AM: BREAK DOWN --- At the end of the concert we need help resetting the street for car traffic, as well as tear down of all the tables and chairs. SPECIAL PERKS: Sign up to volunteer and get a free Volunteer T-Shirt and SWAG BAG full of Champaign Park District goodies! Snacks and drinks will also be provided during your volunteer shift! Community Garden Volunteers (All day) Regular hours We will not be posting specific time slots to register for. Please email givebackgarden@c-uphd.org for a volunteer application.
 
Safe Children Program Volunteer (All day) Safe Children Volunteer Volunteers that assist our Safe Children program work directly with children ages birth - 6. They often times will play with the children here, assist with prepping lunches, rocking babies, or assisting in cleaning the facility.

Once you have completed an orientation, feel free to come in whenever you are available. Volunteer timeslots simple show when you can come in to help us out. Come in for a n hour...or three. We'll be here.

DV Hotline Volunteer
Description:
Courage Connection is begining the process to add Volunteers to be trainined to cover the Domestic Violence Hotline answering calls, intake, etc. Must be 18 or older. Must have completed 40 hour Domestic Violence Advocacy Volunteer must make a regular, weekly commitment. The individual doesn't necessarily have to be available for all shifts listed, but must be available each week for their chosen time slot. Interviews for this volunteer postion will begining in November 2018 with DV Training occuring in January 2019 Volunteer(s) must submit an application: http://courageconnection.org/get-involved/volunteer/opportunities/volunteer-application/. Once application has been reviewed, Courage Connection will directly contact the individual(s).
