Summer Meals for Kids

Description

CUPHD is seeking volunteers who can commit a minimum of 50 hours between the months of May and August 2020 to help with our summer meals program for children.  The Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) is a federally funded nutrition program that offer nutritious meals/snacks to children ages 1-18 in low-income areas when school is not in session.  The more volunteers we have, the more communities and neighborhoods we can serve.  Volunteers tasks might include: food preparation, serving meals at CUPHD and mobile sites around C-U, delivering food to sites, entertaining kids, and planning/executing special events/projects.  All volunteers must undergo a background check (performed by CUPHD).

Final Date:
Friday, August 14, 2020 - 2:45pm
