Champaign Public Library: Children's Services - Program Volunteer (Thursday Evening)

Description

Volunteers are needed on Thursday evenings from 6:15 p.m. to 7:15 pm for children's programming (Family Fun Night). The program volunteer will help the librarian get ready for story time, distribute name tags to children, and count the number of people attending the program. The volunteer may also assist the librarian within the story time as needed and aids in clean up.  Volunteers 18 years or older are welcome at this time.

An interview with a volunteer coordinator must be completed before volunteer work can begin. Please email volunteer@champaign.org or call (217) 403 -2070 to schedule an interview. The library requests a minimum commitment of two  hours each week when volunteering.
