Champaign Public Library: Adult Services - Collection Maintenance Volunteer

Description

A volunteer (preferably a MLS graduate or an iSchool student) is needed to help the Adult Services department with research of library materials using library databases. This task requires skills related to library databases (specifically Polaris) and Microsoft Excel navigation. Adult volunteers (over 18 years) are welcome at this time. Volunteers are currently needed any weekday morning for two hours each week. 

An interview with a volunteer coordinator must be completed before volunteer work can begin. Please email volunteer@champaign.org or call 217/403-2070, ext. 4 to schedule an interview. We ask for a minimum  commitment of six months when volunteering. Every volunteer will have a regular working schedule with a minimum of two hours each week.
