Kids Sewing Club Helpers
Sew Cool After School meets Fridays from 2:00-3:30. It is for 5th grade students only. We will be making easy to sew crafts with sewing machines. Volunteers do not need to be experts at sewing, but just enjoy making things and being creative. We need as many adults as possible to work one on one with students as they learn how to use the sewing machine and put things together. It's a lot of fun, and the kids really love learning how to sew! We do really simple projects like pillows, bags, and more.
This club meets 12 times, starting on Friday, January 25th, and continuing until May 3rd, breaking on March 15th, 22nd, and April 22nd, when there is no school. We prefer someone who can commit to the semester, but understand if you have to miss a time or two. If you have questions, please contact Ann Brodsky at firstname.lastname@example.org or call or text at 217-369-6110. I would like to meet with you before the club starts to give you an overview of what we will be making.
