Champaign Public Library - Main Library: Group Volunteer Project
The library offers group projects for groups interested in one time projects. Group volunteer projects can include collection maintenance, cleaning work in the maintenance department, or assisting with special programming. The group volunteer projects are for adult volunteers (18 years or older) only with a group of five to eight volunteers.
If you are looking for an opportunity to organize a group volunteer project, please contact the library's volunteer coordinator to discuss a group volunteer project. Please email email@example.com or call 217/403-2070, ext. 4 . Group projects without contact or confirmation from a volunteer coordinator will not be eligible. Group volunteers are welcome and needed during the following times:
- High-energy adults wanted to help with after-school programming for middle school students. Creativity, a good sense of humor, and an appreciation for teens are needed for this rewarding opportunity. Four to five college students (18 years or older) are also welcome to lead projects targeting teens relating to technology, science, crafts or food related activities. Supplies would be provided by Library. Volunteers are currently needed Monday through Friday, 2:30 p.m. to 4:45 p.m.
