Champaign Public Library: Access Services - Shelving Volunteer
Volunteers are needed to assist the Library with shelving library materials and checking Library shelves to make sure library materials are neat and orderly on the shelf. Volunteers also pull requested materials from the Library's bookshelves. Volunteers are currently needed Monday through Friday, anytime after 4 pm and anytime during the Library's open hours on Saturday (9 am to 6 pm) and Sunday (12 pm to 6 pm). Both individual and group adult (over 18 years old) volunteers are welcome.
An interview with a volunteer coordinator must be completed before volunteer work can begin. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 217/403-2070 to schedule an interview. All volunteer positions are on-going volunteer tasks and not for one time or for a short term volunteer opportunity. We ask for a minimum commitment of six months when volunteering. Every volunteer will have a regular working schedule with a minim of two hours each week.
