Champaign Public Library: Group Volunteer Projects - Teen after-school program Volunteers

Description

Groups of high-energy adults who are interested in helping out  with after-school programs for middle school students are welcome.  Tasks include set up and clean up of teen activities, leading or assisting with an activity, or any  other tasks assigned by staff.   Anyone with creativity, a good sense of humor, and an appreciation for teens is welcomed for this rewarding opportunity. If your group is willing to send 2-4 volunteers to the library each week (Monday through Friday), 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., please contact the library.

An interview with a volunteer coordinator must be completed before volunteer work can begin. Please email volunteer@champaign.org or call (217) 403 -2070 to schedule an interview. The library requests a minimum commitment of two  hours each week when volunteering.
