Salvation Army of Champaign County Food Pantry Worker

Description

Food Pantry Workers provide a valuable service to The Salvation Army in Champaign.   These volunteers assist Champaign County resident's with completing paperwork necessary to access the Food Pantry, stock shelves with donated items, pack boxes and bags with food for meals, and answer questions.  Our Food Pantry Workers are special people who can show compassion and love to their neighbors who may be in a crisis situation.  A good ear, kind heart, easy smile, and the ability to process paperwork make you an ideal candidate for this position.

Our Food Pantry Workers must complete a full Volunteer Application.   Applications can be received via email, or visiting the Red Shield Center at 2212 N. Market Street, Champaign, IL
