Champaign Public Library: Teen Services - Program Volunteers

Description

High-energy adults wanted to help with after-school programming for middle school students.  Tasks include set up and clean up of teen activities, leading or assisting with an activity, or any  other tasks assigned by staff.   Volunteers are currently needed Tuesdays, 2:30 pm - 4:30 pm. Training would be provided, but creativity, a good sense of humor, and an appreciation for teens are needed for this rewarding opportunity. Adult volunteers (18 years or older) are welcome at this time.

An interview with a volunteer coordinator must be completed before volunteer work can begin. Please email volunteer@champaign.org or call (217) 403 -2070 to schedule an interview. The library requests a minimum commitment of two  hours each week when volunteering.
