    This is a 30 minute, casual ride that starts at the Campus Bicycle Center. I have a sign-up sheet ride here: No previous experience is necessary. If you have never led a ride and are excited to try planning a route and leading a ride, just sign-up and let us know. We will give you a run-down on the do’s and don’ts day-of. First 25 volunteers get a "Happy Friday" spoke card!

    A Foodmobile is a mobile food pantry distribution focused on alleviating hunger in rural areas.  Volunteers are needed to set up the food distribution area, hand out product to recipients, help recipients carry product to their car, and clean up after the distribution is over.  Our neighbors in need simply wouldn't be able to receive emergency food assistance from this program without your help.  Every foodmobile has at least one Foodmobile Captain.  This is a volunteer...

    Urbana's U-Cycle recycling program is seeking volunteers to assist with recycling games & activities at Urbana's Sweetcorn Festival on Friday, August 26 (5-8 p.m.) and Saturday, August 27 (11 a.m. - 2 p.m. or 2-5 p.m. or 5-8 p.m.).  The event will be held rain or shine!

    Answer calls on the 24-hour Crisis Line, to respond to calls from people in Champaign County who are in need of support, resource information, and active listening. Help with crisis situations, including assistance with information, depression, social support, and suicide prevention. Volunteers must participate in 40 hours of training, including 18 hours of supervised on-the-job training.     Did you know 22% of Illinois children live in poverty? 1 in 3 families struggle to purchase diapers (which can cost $100 a month per baby). The diaper bank is looking for volunteers to host their own diaper drives in their place of work, school, church or community center or assist with ongoing drives in the community. There are amazing resources for this fun group activity from the National Diaper Bank Network:

    The Give Back Garden is looking for volunteers to help harvest produce that we use to supplement food pantry bags on a weekly basis.  We will meet every Thursday 9am-12pm to pick any fruits or vegetables that are ready and prepare them for the food pantry service on Thursday afternoons.  Even if you can only volunteer an hour, it would be a tremendous help!
